Wing is not a cutie.
I've seen many sugary pictures of Wing. I have absolutely nothing against fanservice, but the image of Wing as a cute creature is not accurate. Having drawn a couple of cute pictures myself, I wanted to make something different for a change.

If you're familiar with the story, you may notice that Wing broke Drifts ego in many ways, including physical violence and making Drift dependent of him along with some indoctrination going on. I can't perceive him as an angelic character anymore. And looking at Drift, he's pretty vulnerable to manipulation. You see, he isn't the smartest character in the Transformers continuity, but adjusting to the situation is what he does best. So I believe that Wing saw Drift weak points and he knew exactly what he was doing and saying.
 think they’ll become friends by the end of the series.
